GAAAAY.com

Privacy Policy

Effective August 30, 2026

Who we are

GAAAAY.com ("we", "us") is an entertainment, news and community website. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions any time: hello@gaaaay.com.

What we collect

Newsletter: your email address, when you subscribed, and your subscription status. That’s it — we don’t buy, sell or append data to it.

Accounts: your first and last name, your email address, a profile name and optional @username you choose, and a securely hashed password (or your Google sign-in). We never store passwords in readable form. Your first and last name stay private — they are used for identity verification (required to post in community forums) and are never shown publicly.

Usage analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). This data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally.

Technical logs: like nearly every website, our servers keep short-lived logs (IP address, browser type) for security and debugging. Where we rate-limit abuse, we store only salted hashes of IP addresses, not the addresses themselves.

How we use it

To send you the newsletter you asked for, run your account, keep the site secure, and understand what content people enjoy so we can make more of it.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run the site for us (hosting, email delivery, analytics), and only for those purposes.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, and Google Analytics cookies for measurement. If advertising is enabled on the site (Google AdSense), Google may use cookies to serve ads; you can control ad personalization in your Google settings.

Email choices

Every newsletter email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can manage your subscription from your account page. Unsubscribing stops marketing email immediately; we may still send essential account emails (like password resets you request).

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@gaaaay.com and we’ll take care of it. Deleting your account removes your profile and personal details from our systems.

Children

GAAAAY.com is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we’ll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell subscribers by email or a notice on the site.
